It’s that time of year. No matter where I am, I usually try to read one holiday book around December to get in the holiday spirit. The year I was in Thailand for Christmas, I found a day to go to Starbucks so I could wear a flannel in the air conditioning and drink a peppermint mocha while reading a holiday romance.
That year it was a reread of The Present by Johanna Lindsey. The story is a holiday edition in her Malory family series.
Some other past holiday reads include:
Some Kind of Wonderful by Beth Ciotta which is a novella in her Cupcake Lover’s series
Let it Snow, a collection of three holiday romances by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. I saw this book listed on a bustle article: Most Popular Holiday Books, According to Goodreads.
My True Love Gave to Me edited by Stephanie Perkins, a young adult collection of 12 short holiday stories
Comfort and Joy by Kristin Hannah
A Chesapeake Shores Christmas and An O’Brien Family Christmas by Sherryl Woods, book 4 and book 8 in her Chesapeake Shores book series
My hopeful TBRs for this holiday season are:
Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand
A Seaside Christmas and The Christmas Bouquet by Sherryl Woods, the next two books in her Chesapeake Shores series. Both are holiday editions! I think she was planning to end the series with the ninth book and then went back to the characters for Christmas stories.
